Tomorrow is picture day at Forrestal. Online ordering closes at 8am tomorrow. You can send in the paper order form that was sent home two weeks ago. Forrestal Families, Several parents shared concerns that there is unsafe driving/parking on Wisconsin Avenue for morning drop off. I've requested a Crossing Guard for the intersection; however, in the interim an officer for the North Chicago Police Department will come as often as his schedule allows. He plans to be there tomorrow morning. Here are a few helpful reminders for safety: -Please obey the stop sign and double check for people/students trying to cross and give them the right of way. -Please do not double park on Wisconsin. -Please drive Northbound on Wisconsin to utilize the Kiss 'n Go car line. This line is not intended for parking parents who wish to walk their child to the door. There is hatched parking just north of the stop sign to pull into. -Please do not drive South on Wisconsin and drop your child on the opposite side of the street. This creates a crossing hazard that can be avoided if you drive northbound instead of southbound. -Please do not allow your child to exit a traffic side of the car (only curb facing).
